ABOUT RCC
A club built on belief, trust, support and passion
Ridge Cricket Club is a premier destination for cricket enthusiasts. The main activity is weekend box cricket every Sunday, 8AM–10AM — we showcase match schedules, highlights from past tournaments, and recognition for our best performers.
How it all started?
One fine day, 7 January 2023, Mr. Aniket created a WhatsApp group with eight people who did not know each other. Every Sunday the group gathered for box cricket — to relieve childhood memories and enjoy some leisure time.
As time passed, that group of eight grew to fifteen, then thirty, then forty-five — and today we are a huge family of 119+ cricket enthusiasts who take time out from busy professional and personal lives for the game we love.
The entire RCC family will forever be indebted to Mr. Nihar, who initiated and conceptualised our flagship event Ridge Premier League (RPL) on 17 March 2023 — leading to the birth of Ridge Cricket Club (RCC). So far we have completed nine spectacular seasons of RPL; each season has surpassed the last in participation, quality, and thrilling matches.

Women Ridge Premier League (WRPL)
WRPL is something RCC is super proud of. With women’s empowerment and equality at heart, Mr. Ashish Ranjan came up with a league for women cricketers from and around RCC to celebrate womanhood. We have successfully organised one season and are planning many more.

The latest addition under the RCC umbrella is the T20 Series — stepping out of the comfort zone of box cricket onto open ground, to feel the more serious nature of the game. This too is the brainchild of Mr. Ashish Ranjan.

Birth of RPL & RCC
Mr. Nihar conceptualised Ridge Premier League — leading to the official birth of Ridge Cricket Club.
